When seventeen-year-old Sia wakes up on a park bench, she has no idea who or where she is. Yet after a week of being homeless, she’s reunited with her family. At school, she’s powerful and popular. At home, she’s wealthy beyond her dreams. But she quickly realizes her perfect life is a lie. Her family is falling apart and her friends are snobby, cruel and plastic. Worse yet, she discovers she was the cruelest one. Mortified by her past, she embarks on a journey of redemption and falls for Kyle, the “geek” she once tormented. Yet all the time she wonders if, when her memories return, she’ll become the bully she was before…and if she’ll lose Kyle.

This was a sweet story about a girl getting a chance to start over. Don’t we all wish we got that chance every now and again? When Sia gets amnesia, she lives on the street for a week and then goes back to school to find out that she was one of the cruelest of the girls at school. With her get out of jail free pass, Sia starts over and seems intent on making up for her past mistakes.

Grayson wrote a really well written story about a girl that has it all. I really enjoyed Sia. I was a heart warming story and a quick and easy read.  Sia’s life is not as picture perfect from the inside as it looks from the outside.

Sia’s character, the one we meet not the one that she was, is one that I really found myself liking, and Kyle, is a sweetheart with a great heart.
