The Story

If you play with fire…

Tossed out of college and cut off by her parents, Samantha West is in pretty dire straits. So when her rocker best friend hooks her up with a job dancing at a gentlemen’s club, who is she to turn it down? Plus, there are rules to dancing at Benny’s: No touching, keep your clothes on at all times, and never get closer than three feet. Unfortunately for Sam, her first private client makes her want to break every single one of them.

Harrison Yates is scorching hot, but he’s got a past that involves being left at the altar not too long ago. Sam is determined to make him forget about his ex, but when she makes her move, it flings her life into a spiral of chaos she never saw coming.

Because Harrison Yates isn’t who he seems to be. And his secret will probably get her killed.

What I Thought

So I had heard a lot about these books, but never read them.  When I saw the tour with Rockstar books, I thought, why not.

Wow am I glad I gave this one a go!!!!

This book was everything I had heard it was! Fun, hot and entertaining! Sam is smart and energetic, and when her parents throw her out, she gets a job dancing.  And then in walks Harrison.  She is instantly drawn to him, but well… maybe she shouldn’t.

But then there is that sneaky little plot twist thrown in that just makes everything more fun, and I do mean everything more fun.

This book is number three in the series, and I will admit to not having read books one or two.  But I will also state for the record, that, after reading this one, that one and two are going on my to be read list, cause I loved this book!

I  loved Desrochers writing style and how the story evolved. This was a seriously couldn’t put down kind of book! Pick it up, you won’t be sorry!
