So wrong for each other …and yet so right.
No one knows what happened the night Echo Emerson went from popular girl with jock boyfriend to gossiped-about outsider with “freaky” scars on her arms. Even Echo can’t remember the whole truth of that horrible night. All she knows is that she wants everything to go back to normal.
But when Noah Hutchins, the smoking-hot, girl-using loner in the black leather jacket, explodes into her life with his tough attitude and surprising understanding, Echo’s world shifts in ways she could never have imagined. They should have nothing in common. And with the secrets they both keep, being together is pretty much impossible.
Yet the crazy attraction between them refuses to go away. And Echo has to ask herself just how far they can push the limits and what she’ll risk for the one guy who might teach her how to love again.
WHAT I THOUGHT
I actually read this one a while back, like January 2012 while back! But as I was going through to do my reviews, I realized that this one was missing from the series, and, honestly? Those kind of things bother me. Plus, I loved this one so much, I wanted to add it back in! So, here you go!
The thing that I love the most about Katie McGarry is that her characters are SO FREAKING AMAZING! I can totally see these people really existing, they wander through the halls of schools, and they just jump off the pages of the books. Noah and Echo were just amazing characters and I fell in love with them. They touched me so much and touched my emotions so much.
In retrospect, I love the road that this book started us on. I love that we got to get to know all the characters so much more that we meet in this book and following their stories.
I will admit, I am a crier, and yes, this one had me in tears a couple of times. I just love the story and the relationship that Noah and Echo develop. Ugh! This one is just crazy good!
